CJ, the foundation for Montague Kennel and the spirit of Montague Farm left this world on his own terms this past fall. CJ was our first, and the reason that we wanted more like him.   We were so very fortunate to have "The King" nearly 13 wonderful years, but CJ decided the time and we were with him just yards away from the spot in the yard where he kept watch over not only the kennel, but progress in the vineyard, the jets flying in his air space, the Coast Guard helicopters, who routinely flew over between bays, and the Blue Angels, who  interrupted his peace every other summer.  We had many many wonderful experiences with CJ, including a several mile walk on the farm a couple of weeks before his passing. On the right, CJ relaxes with his first family and his special buddy Willie to his left.  We lost Willie shortly after CJ.

CJ and Willie, you will always remain "the King" and " Big Guy".

AKC Champions father and son, CH Bo Dandy's Rock Solid "Rocky" and CH Kirkhaven Montague Rock Star "Cooper".  Cooper became a champion at less than a year old.

There is also the Golden side of the Kennel with McGuire and Molly producing 17 wonderful puppies during the past year, including Mandy, who remains at home.

And, then there is the rest of the family at Montague, including Lilly, Heather,Ted and Chrissie(Thunder's parents), Griffin (Maggie Mae' son) and Ally (Thunder's sister) .
